NOVO ATMOS

An engineering practice.
A builder’s perspective.

We care about what happens between a promising idea and a system someone can actually use.

recent work
  • 955 court judgments, structured
  • 6–8 h manual job, automated
  • BigQuery → Snowflake, validated
  • Reports that update themselves

Numbers from the published case studies. No client names.

WHY NOVO ATMOS EXISTS

More capability.
Less distance from the work.

Building tools, products, websites and data systems leads to the same lesson: the interface is only one part of the problem.

The underlying data, integrations and operating decisions determine whether a useful idea becomes a dependable capability. That is the work Novo Atmos is here to do.

Our focus is data engineering, production retrieval and controlled AI workflows. We bring those disciplines together around a specific business problem.

HOW WE WORK

Earn confidence.
One working path at a time.

A clear scope, visible decisions and evidence that the system does what it needs to do.

01

DISCOVERY

Make the problem specific.

Start with the current process, representative data and the people who will use the result. Identify the failure modes, access requirements and business constraints before choosing the implementation.

THE OUTPUTA bounded use case, explicit assumptions and agreed acceptance criteria.
02

IMPLEMENTATION

Build from source to outcome.

Connect the smallest useful end-to-end path. Surface parsing issues, missing data and integration constraints while the scope is still easy to change.

THE OUTPUTA reviewable implementation with documented decisions and a testable workflow.
03

EVALUATION

Test more than the happy path.

Use representative questions and examples. Include missing evidence, invalid input, access boundaries and failed dependencies. Separate subjective impressions from repeatable checks.

THE OUTPUTAn evaluation record: what works, where it fails and what remains unresolved.
04

HANDOVER

Make operation part of delivery.

Document configuration, deployment, monitoring and recovery. Identify who owns the system and how changes will be tested after the initial build.

THE OUTPUTSource, operating notes, known limitations and a clear ownership boundary.

WORKING PRINCIPLES

Useful constraints.
Better engineering.

Use the simpler system.

A model or agent needs to earn its place. Sometimes a pipeline, search interface or ordinary automation is enough.

Make uncertainty visible.

Unproven assumptions, missing evidence and operational risks belong in the conversation from the beginning.

Leave a system you can own.

Code, configuration and operating knowledge should not disappear behind a handover presentation.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Direct technical thinking.

Discuss your sources, constraints and actual workflow. Get clear explanations of the choices and trade-offs.

A defined piece of work.

Agree what is being built, what good looks like and what sits outside the scope before implementation expands.

Evidence over theatre.

Judge the system by representative tests and inspectable outputs. A polished demo is a starting point.

Bring us the problem. We'll work through the system.
